TARMSTEDT EXHIBITION 2026: A REVIEW

When people from across the industry gather together, the most valuable conversations often take place: direct, personal, and closely linked to day-to-day practice. That is exactly what our team experienced at this year’s Tarmstedt Exhibition. With our own stand, we were right at the heart of one of Northern Germany’s most important meeting places for the agricultural sector, and we can look back on four eventful days.

IN DIALOGUE WITH THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

From 10 to 13 July, around 750 exhibitors showcased their innovations, products, and services relating to agriculture, horticulture, renewable energy, and trade to more than 100,000 visitors across over 18 hectares of outdoor exhibition space and seven exhibition halls. Our stand also welcomed a steady stream of visitors throughout the event. For our team, the main focus was on personal exchange – with existing customers, suppliers, and partners, as well as new contacts.

“For the agricultural unit, it was an all-round successful exhibition with many great conversations. We would like to thank our customers and suppliers for the open dialogue, as well as all visitors who took the opportunity to discuss current challenges and opportunities in agriculture with us,” summarises Nils Jäger, Head of the agricultural unit.

Our solutions for agriculture, animal farming, and biogas plants were at the centre of many discussions. Bedding products attracted particularly strong interest, alongside organic fertilisers and agricultural by-products for use in biogas plants. At the same time, one thing became clear: the requirements for raw materials and processes in agriculture are constantly evolving. In the biogas sector in particular, topics such as certification, proof of origin, and greenhouse gas accounting were the focus of many discussions. Increasingly, it is no longer simply a question of whether a material is sustainable. Rather, the entire value chain is now being considered – from production through processing to transport.

Alongside the professional dialogue, it is above all the personal encounters that remain memorable. Janne Grobler from purchasing and sales reflects on her first business exhibition: “Having our own stand at the Tarmstedt Exhibition, which I have been visiting for many years as a private visitor, was quite special. I was delighted to meet partners whom I hadn’t previously had the opportunity to get to know in person.” That is exactly what makes the exhibition so valuable to us: face-to-face conversations, honest feedback from the field, and the opportunity to build new business relationships. “On site, we reach out to businesses with whom we’ve had no previous contact, and in doing so, we gain many new perspectives,” Janne explains.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2027

Nothing can replace this direct conversation with the industry. The many conversations, positive feedback, and new contacts have reaffirmed our commitment to remaining present wherever agriculture, practical expertise, and innovation come together. We are therefore already looking forward to being part of the Tarmstedt Exhibition again next year.
