How did you become part of the Brüning Group?
I received a message on LinkedIn saying that my profile was a 90 per cent match for a job vacancy. When I saw that it was the Brüning Group which I knew to be an up-and-coming company, I applied with just one click – and then forgot all about it until I was invited for an interview a few days later. In the end, I didn’t get the advertised position, but I visited the company a few times and always had really good conversations. The discussions mainly revolved around internationalisation, particularly with a focus on Scandinavia. I knew then that if anyone was right for the job, it was me – and that’s exactly what I wrote to the management.
What do you find most exciting about the market situation?
The past winter! For the first time in my two years with the Brüning Group, we have been experiencing a proper winter. Demand was high, and at the same time the huge surplus of material on the market was finally being reduced. I’ve noticed that customers were actively approaching me – partly due to the weather conditions, of course, but it also shows me that we’re doing a good job. That’s a great form of recognition.
