PROJECT MANAGEMENT

How did you become part of the Brüning Group?

After completing my Master’s degree, I knew I wanted to work in corporate development – in an environment where I could take on responsibility and help shape projects that move the company forward and have a lasting impact. I had been aware of the Brüning Group for some time, and my unsolicited application led me to the right unit at exactly the right time – perfect timing for both sides. From day one I have felt very well looked after and truly welcomed within the team.

Which project or task has excited you the most so far?

In my 1.5 years here, I have already been able to work on a number of exciting projects – and the best part is that I’m given responsibility early on. My absolute passion project is the Brüning Academy. Together with colleagues from my unit and beyond, we’ve built our own training platform, which continues to grow steadily. Projects such as a new, revised onboarding concept or the further development of our occupational health management are also great fun and continually challenge me in new ways. What I particularly appreciate about Brüning is the endless opportunities. If you want to initiate something that benefits the company, it’s simply ‘go for it’. Suggestions are met with open ears straight away and quickly develop into real projects.

What characterises the Brüning Group for you?

Quite clearly: the sense of community. Although we’ve grown quite a bit, there’s still a very family-like atmosphere here. Presentations don’t have to be held in a suit – everyone is free to come as they are. Added to that is the open feedback culture: you receive recognition when something has gone really well, but also honest advice on what could be improved. This mix motivates you to keep pushing forward.

What is your secret tip for successful teamwork?

Talking openly with one another and giving praise when something has worked well. Celebrating both small and big successes together – that really brings people together.

If you could swap your job for another one for a day, which one would it be and why?

That’s a tough question! But since I am also co-responsible for our ISO 9001 audit, I would love to step into the role of an auditor. I find it fascinating to examine company processes in detail and analyse how other organisations operate effectively.
