Who or what really surprised you in a positive way at the Brüning Group?

Katrin Brüning and Jan Wünderlich, who supervised the construction and project for our new headquarters. I take my hat off to their commitment in supporting this major project. I think they deserve great praise for this amazing implementation.

The shareholders’ and management’s approval for the company outing to Hamburg with the entire staff. Svea and Jasmin also deserve special mention in the same breath, as they organised everything with dedication and foresight.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The cooperation with my colleagues, especially in terms of interaction. The appreciative, considerate and helpful cooperation is, in my view, something special that needs to be preserved. It requires daily work and so far I am very proud of my team, how they treat me and each other.
Furthermore, my job is incredibly varied. No two days are the same. Staff meetings, process organisation, preparing monthly reports, clarifying tax issues and preparing the annual financial statements for the individual companies and the groups. This diversity in an international context with the large product portfolio, taking into account trade and services, makes it varied and challenging for me.
If you could wake up tomorrow with a new professional skill, what would it be?
I would like to be able to speak several languages fluently. I’m working on it, but vocabulary doesn’t come easily to me… For me it means hard work and repeating everything over and over again.
